Empowering Aspirations | Supported by UNICEF

The Career Guidance Program, implemented by Development Initiative: Igniting Young Mind (DIIYM) in collaboration with UNICEF Madhya Pradesh and the Directorate of Public Instructions, Madhya Pradesh, is designed to help students of Classes 9 to 12 to make informed and confident career choices. In a short span, the program reached schools across the state with practical tools, interactive online sessions, and student-focused resources—ensuring that even those facing barriers to formal education could explore meaningful skill-based and vocational opportunities

From brochures and training modules to videos and webinars, the initiative supported both students and teachers in navigating the world of careers with clarity and purpose—laying the groundwork for a stronger, more inclusive future.

This flagship initiative addresses the urgent need for structured career guidance among students from underserved communities. Implemented across government high and higher secondary schools in Madhya Pradesh, the program aligns with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Key Objectives

To capacitate state level officials to implement blended career guidance program in secondary and higher secondary schools in MP.
To enhance knowledge and skills on career preparedness for students of class 9th to 12th.

Build essential workforce readiness and 21st-century skills.

Facilitate informed career decisions through timely and accessible information.

Connect students with vocational and higher education pathways.

Strengthen students’ confidence through life skills and self-exploration activities.

We are a Bhopal-based non-profit working to build an inclusive, child-friendly society through education, empowerment, and informed career pathways. Established in 2019, we partner with government bodies, communities, and development agencies to strengthen foundational learning, support adolescent transitions, and build capacities across the education ecosystem.
